Fatou Toure, a young girl from Mali, will be joining David s class next week. David and his classmates are determined to learn everything they can about Mali in order to welcome their new classmate. Oludamini Ogunnaike is a PhD student in African Studies and Religion at Harvard University. He spent a year living in Mali on a Rockefeller Fellowship (2007 2008). While in Mali, he studied djembe and kora in Bamako. He also traveled to Timbuktu and Djenné, where he briefly studied medieval political and intellectual history of the region. Mr. Ogunnaike received his bachelor of arts degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and African Studies from Harvard University in 2007. This is his first book.

I use the English version for teaching my women's classes and appreciate that I am now able to get it in Spanish for the Spanish speaking women in the class..
