In der Literatur zur Preistheorie finden sich zwei methodisch unterschiedliche Ans1Hze, den in einer Planungssituation zieladaquaten Preis - bei simultaner Betrachtung mehrerer Perioden: die zieladaquaten Preis- zu bestimmen. 1m einen Falle wird der Planungszeitraum in aquidistante Perioden unterteilt. Nur jeweils am Anfang einer Periode ist eine Preisanderung moglich. Die oko nomischen Parameter des Planungsmodells beziehen sich in ihrer quantitativen Auspragung jeweils auf eine Teilperiode (diskontinuierliche Analyse oder zeit raumbezogene Betrachtung). 1m anderen Falle werden sowohl die Variablen als auch die okonomischen Parameter als Funktionen der Zeit aufgefaBt. Die Werte sind jeweils zeitpunktbezogen (kontinuierliche Analyse oder zeitpunktbezogene Betrachtung). 1m Rahmen der erstgenannten Methode miissen die Zeitpunkte, zu denen Preisanderungen moglich sind, vorab festgelegt werden. 1m Hinblick auf die Zielsetzung geschieht diese Festlegung mithin 'willkiirlich'.
