Roger Clemens indictment refocuses attention on the effects of drugs on pitching records, such as those of the top strikeout staff in the history of the AL, the Cleveland Indians of 1964-68. The 1964 Indians was the first staff to strike out (SO) 1100 AL batters in a season, and they would lead the league with over 1100 SO for a record-setting 5 years, not since duplicated. I read this book while we were fighting a massive hog slaughter plant that tried to locate in our town in Iowa. First, I would like to thank Kris Godinez for sharing her story. Doug Weiss is a world-renown counselor, and his materials are the best that I have ever seen (of probably all) for marriage.. I will incorporate many of his suggestions in practice organization and set building this upcoming season.. Many images are floral in nature, but they appear to be much more than just flowers. Toot comments that "the best present was usually something you made yourself, a one-of-a-kind thingamajig, not just a whatsit anyone could buy in a store."
As with the other books in the series, the illustrations truly "make" this book. The imagery is so strong that days after I had read The Birdskin Shoes I was convinced that one particular scene(I won't give anything away) was something I'd seen in a movie.
