Not only that, but she doesn't heed the advice of Jake and surrounds herself with one of the most jerk-off character I've had the pleasure of reading in a Grisham novel. Most people, including many physicians, accept the claims of proponents of alternative medicine at face value, succumbing to their mastery of public relations. This usage approach would have been excellent for a juvenile book, but only as an adjunct to the actual specimens being represented. Let me also mention that I do not normally dive into a vampire story of any kind but something caught my attention whilst reading the synopsis and I was compelled to venture on.
