I don't use their Piece 'O Cake style of appliqué (I use back basting), but I truly love the patterns.. BEWARE, this book does NOT have the solutions to all of the problems in the back of the "Engineering Fluid Mechanics" textbook (Crowe/Elger/Roberson 8th). I bought this book. Just one that leaves you ready for the next part of the story, because the first major fault with this book is that it was too short. The image on the cover sets the tone here as Tony Birks lays out the basics of forming clay and developing beautiful, useful surfaces while inspiring us throughout with image after image of high aesthetic merit.
