The device of traveling to a goal (the shore where an enclave of men is seemingly more advanced by an exiled woman Birana and a heroic man Arvil) creates movement, but it also prolongs the tale. Short fun read. O.Carl Simonton is an impressive doctor and author.. Clinical trials have been done on several of the items he mentions in the book and the reasons there are not more done is cost. I also found it very distracting when Halpern decided to segue into Greensleeves at one point. The chapter on noise is equally rich.
However, I did not like the elimination of the circuit ideas section and replacing it with a chapter review. And it is the perfect book to send to your mother if she starts taking homeopathic "remedies" or using chiropractic..
