Steve Zumdahl is the author of market-leading textbooks in introductory chemistry, general chemistry, honors-level chemistry, and high school chemistry. Recently retired from his long-time position as Director of Undergraduate Programs at the University of Illinois, he has received numerous awards for his contributions to chemical education. These include the National Catalyst Award in recognition of his contribution to chemical education, the University of Illinois Teaching Award, the UIUC Liberal Arts and Sciences Advising Award, and the School of Chemical Sciences Teaching Award (five times). He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Wheaton College (IL), and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois.
And then the shipping charges came up to $22.50 for a mug, a deck of cards, and a set of bookmarks. The book is very precise and gives a lot of mathematical related things that's relevant to Navigation and Guidance. Once again, other than tipping off the special agent, the story could've used any type of character to fill that role. It is also amazing that this company refused to abdicate even after a bankruptcy. The more I read in this series, the more impressed I become with its consistency. Weiss's book understand that how I have acted is only a part of the problem in my marriage. I found a few errors in the book, some of them grammatical (editors? hello?) and some of them quite irksome and shouldn't have been made (spelling Colombia as "Columbia" in many instances, and actually using both spellings in the same chapter (Ch. key steps were left out). This really has just some amazing photography from the Civil War, making it all just to horrific and real.
