Ronda Gaynor has created a wonderful book about a real family and the pet they choose. Very well written novel with something for everyone ,very interesting story with many twist and turns before an excellent climax.. Given daily changes with technology, the authors' methods can be reproduced for examiners to replicate and validate their findings just by following the steps taken in the book. That is really something!
Also I need to mention, the book is much more on postmodern culture (+ its relations to modernist culture), less on art education. Just 31/2 stars not as the previous books. We participated in a one week camp in 1987 and anotcts her renewal week in 1988 in Santa Monica CA. I have to "edit" the stories, and have finally tossed the book. The protagonist is motivated by the assassination of his mentor, the Old Man, and goes on a mission to avenge the killing which he blames on Reinhard Heydrich, a James Bond style super villain.
